The World Bank Group's project “Reforming the Investment Climate in Ukraine” is starting a program to prepare Ukrainian beef producers for the opening of the European market. This was reported on February 27 by the press service of the Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB).
It is noted that the program will be implemented with the support of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection and with the participation of UFEB and the association “Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business”.
“The launch of the program is scheduled for April 2017. It envisages the participation of 10 to 14 companies, directly at the production sites of which the experts of the World Bank’s Investment Reform in Ukraine Group project will conduct training on the preparation of these enterprises in accordance with EU requirements. The program is planned to be implemented during the year, ”the report states.
